And here we are again, with the book more sugary (I would say almost diabetes) of the famous Twilight saga. Yes, I'm talking about Eclipse, the third novel of the five.
As you all know the book, like the previous and subsequent, was published by Fazi August 7, 2007 in America and just three months later in Italy, given its success with other previous books.
The cover is a frayed ribbon: Bella tries to give a cut to the past to finally become a vampire, but fails completely.
In the account in question is the antagonist Riley Biers, newborn vampire turned from Victoria, acting quietly behind the scenes, creating an atmosphere of suspense and mystery (of course you can already hear everything from the first page, but it does not matter).
The genre is always the paranormal romance and is the author Stephenie Meyer, who with this book falls in absolute banality.
Plot:
Bella is forced to choose between vampire Edward and werewolf Jakob. The decision is made more difficult by the threat of Victoria, who want to take revenge for the death of James, his companion. The date of conversion (after graduation) approaches; Edward at first tries to end the friendship between Jakob and Bella, but later became more permissive. To protect Bella from the arrival of a newborn vampires group thirsting for his blood, the Cullens and the Quileute enter into an alliance, but the battle is near and infants are too strong ...
"She wants you to die,
so stop with this comedy. "
"He never wanted.
Every kiss, every caress, was a lie. "
"How he looked at her!
It was like a blind man
who looked at the sun for the first time.
As a collector
who discovers an unknown Leonardo,
as a mother
looking into the eyes of newborn son. "
New Moon is the worst story in the saga, but Eclipse is the book most unsuccessful.
Let me explain the difference.
When I say that history is a bad mean that the idea of the story was conceived and then told evil (and this is indeed the case of New Moon, which has nothing sensible and particular); but if I say it's a bad book came, it means that it is first of all told evil, and so far no difference, but it also means that he has nothing to say.
I'll explain; a book that has nothing to say is an empty book, made up of white pages printed with the words that make no sense and do not leave anything, with themes unnecessary and superficially treated. In fact, the theme of the story is (as usual) the love, but a love different from other books. Eclipse will reach the fateful love triangle between the girl and the two supernatural beings (if not all vampire and werewolf). Only Stephenie Meyer must have got lost in the pages when she was reading, because she wrote things really absurd, including the scene where Edward tampers engine Bella (through wires) to not let her go to the reserve, where Jackob lives, with excuse (which will continue to be reused dozens of times, to the point that after a while you could imagine what he would say even before I read it) that "the wolves are dangerous".
Now, I say. If the wolves are dangerous to the point that Bella can not even talk to me, tell me how dare you, Edward, you're a vampire, yet you show by your girlfriend. No, 'cause we are in exceptional levels of stupidity, you can not afford to write such a thing. But, apart from that, the phrase has the medieval mentality; since when a boy does not allow (although it should not allow, a person should do what he pleases, but still) to his girlfriend to go to find the friend who has almost "saved" when he It was there? I'm sorry, dear Stephenie Meyer, but you messed bad.
Other than that what I did not like of the book is always the same, boring sentences loving the two (girl and vampire) exchange: garish and stupid, running since I was a dwarf and I can not stand anymore. Please, don't write boring novels!
